Kinky-Curly Curling Custard

Kinky-Curly Curling Custard is an awesome product once you learn how to use it. Beware, using too much product on your hair will leave your hair feeling sticky. This product works best with the leave in conditioner Knot Today.

How to use: I section my hair into four parts and apply it and scrunch it in. I like the fact that I don't need to use a lot, a little goes a long way. Another way I apply it is finger coiling which tends to make the the curl definition last longer. A couple things to note - This works best on wet freshly washed hair. Second, don't touch your hair till it fully dries. Once it dries you can shake the curls out of the gel cast and viola popping curls.

The cons are it takes forever to dry. I have low-porosity hair so it takes a long time to dry as-is. When I'm in a rush and need my hair to be dry fast, I reach for a different product since I barely diffuse my hair. Pros- I love that this curling custard is all natural. This works best on wet freshly washed hair. This is also one of the few products that gives me second- and third-day hair. It's easy to refresh as well; just take a tiny bit of product in your hands, add a bit of water, and you're good. Truly one of my top 5 favourite curly hair products that I keep going back to and would highly recommend to any curly out there.
